Cultivate inner listening and heightened awareness through somatic movement.
Somatic movement is based on countering sensory-motor amnesia to create awareness and movement in areas that may have become desensitized, while releasing chronic tension.
The exercises are slow, gentle, done without force and executed lying on your back, belly or side making them effective and approachable for everybody. Restorative poses are integrated to allow time for your body to assimilate the effects of these movements.

Yin is the feminine/masculine, dark, passive, receptive, reflective, withdrawn, cool, introspective aspects of life.
Yin yoga was developed to penetrate deep into connective tissue expanding flexibility while invigorating the energy centers of the body (nadis) to release blockages and increase your energy flow.
Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses.
Yin yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues - ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body - rather than the muscles (which are the physical focus of Yang yoga practices).
Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles. Yin yoga also offers wonderful emotional and mental health benefits.
